Hello, I’m Carey—owner of Stephney Jewelry and your permanent jewelry welder. Jewelry has been my passion for many years, and I approach every piece with care, precision, and a deep respect for the craft. Permanent jewelry, to me, is a thoughtfully executed process that blends design, technical skill, and personalization into a piece meant to be worn effortlessly every day.
I am certified in jewelry manufacturing and repair and have hands-on experience working with a wide range of jewelry-making techniques and materials, including chain work, soldering, welding, metalsmithing, and custom assembly. I also had the opportunity to attend the first permanent jewelry expo in Las Vegas, where I gained specialized, permanent-jewelry-specific training from industry leaders. This background allows me to confidently guide clients through the design, fitting, and welding process to ensure each piece is secure, comfortable, and beautifully finished.
Quality is extremely important to me. I source my chains and materials from well-known, reputable suppliers and maintain a clean, organized workspace whether I’m in my studio, at a pop-up, or on location for a private event. My goal is for every client to feel informed, comfortable, and confident in both the process and the final piece.
When I’m not welding bracelets, I enjoy spending time with my family, attending live music events, traveling, and creating one-of-a-kind removable jewelry pieces in my home studio. I truly love the art of jewelry making and the relationships built through it, and I would be honored to create a permanent piece for you.
